Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actress who is also a director, writer and producer. Her father hails from Britain as does her mother, who is a "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's earliest memories include attending play rehearsals as well as watching her mother's her job. In her early years, Anna appeared in several commercials. Then, in November 1999 Anna made the move to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career, eventually making the move in Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in an Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in 2009. Anna had changed her religion to Judaism and the couple married in Fredericton. Bo's relationship with Lauren was highlighted in the top TV Couples ever and named Top Television Couple 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's popularity on social media increased as a result of Anna's show.
