April Ross

April Ross has won more than one Olympic medal. She is one of a few female beach volleyball players that be able to do so. Ross Born in 1982 and was raised within Costa Mesa California with her sisters and parents, was the first to begin taking part in athletics at Newport Harbor High School. Ross was a competitive athlete in a variety of sports during her time at Newport Harbor High School. She was a basketball player and also ran track, in addition to her indoor volleyball accomplishments in her time as a college athlete. She clearly was the top in the game of indoor volleyball. In her time at the high school level According to her university information, she played as middle blocker, outside settingter, and hitter. The results of her efforts were acknowledged by her selection as the 1999 Gatorade Circle of Champions National Players of the Year. Her skills in volleyball earned her the Orange County Athlete of the Award in the year 2000. Although Ross and Klineman have been doing their thing since 2017, the former was already a big-time player on the beach scene prior to their team. She was a winner of many major events playing two partners. One of which is famous for her volleyball skills. In the period 2007 until 2013, she was a team with Jennifer Kessy who more recently played the role of Klineman's coach. Along together with Kessy Ross, the duo won an Olympic Title in 2009, while racing in the international circuit. They eventually won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Misty Maytreanor (Jennings) as well as Misty Maytreanor were the winners, overtaking them. Ross Jennings was Walsh Jennings partner in fate as Maytreanor resigned. In 2016, the two took bronze at the Rio Olympics for beach volleyball. Ross graduated with a degree in foreign relations and international affairs at USC. Margie Ross, Ross' mother, did not have the opportunity to witness Ross' daughter blossom into an international beach volleyball star. Margie, Ross's mother, passed away in 2001 when Ross was still at the age of a USC sophomore. She had breast cancer. She continues to hold her lost parent near and dear. Margie has always been a source of inspiration for her, both in and out of the water.
