Sheryl Underwood, a American comedian and television host best known as the anchor for The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas in the area of Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl lives in a family that is turbulent. She spent most of her young life caring for her older sister Frankie who was afflicted by an illness called polio. While she was growing older, there were many arguments with her mum. Sheryl states that one time she cut her father's hair due to his proximity. Sheryl joined military after graduating from university. Her interest was in comedy. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She started her TV career as a frequent performer at the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She was a TV host for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been being a co-host for The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. She has also played a fictional character in shows like Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
